About Jeremiah Elliott, Jr.

Jeremiah Elliott, Jr. lives in Indianapolis with his husband Justin Harter and their cats (Sookie & Baxter) and dog (Ares). Jeremiah tries to be mindful in his lifestyle choices and lives as green a lifestyle that is possible. When he isn’t working, he enjoys biking wherever he needs to go. He thinks that since the infrastructure already exists, why not use it? Why would he need to add another vehicle to the already full roads and increase his carbon footprint?

Jeremiah primarily practices yoga at Myriad Yoga in Downtown Indianapolis. He enjoys variety in his practice; taking the time to relax through restorative classes and flow through vinyasa style classes.

Jeremiah completed a second graduate program in 2022, graduating with a certificate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Purdue Global. In 2015, Jeremiah completed a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Innovation at Post University. For his undergraduate work, Jeremiah attended Eastern Connecticut State University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Art in Spanish.

Jeremiah has a varied work history. He has worked for four different insurance companies in a variety of customer service, underwriting, and sales roles. He also has worked as an operations supervisor, safety & loss prevention manager, and training & development manager in the e-commerce, warehouse, and food manufacturing industries. All of these roles led him to his true passion, Human Resources. He now works for legal software company as a HR Business Partner focusing on Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS.

Jeremiah is an avid reader and is quite taken with the fantasy genre. His favorite books in his collection are: the Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness, The Modern Witch series by Debora Geary, the Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop, and the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane.

The most fundamental part of Jeremiah is that he believes that being normal is vastly overrated. Normality is relative and change cannot occur unless the status quo is challenged. He lives a life that is unconventional and he loves every moment of it.
